Established in April 1996, Al Thuriah started as a dream project between two friends: Sheikh Majid Bin Hamad Al Qassimi and Engineer Raymond Khouzami. Over the years, we evolved from being a small contracting firm to a growing integrated real estate family in Sharjah, developing and building the finest, high-quality residential and commercial spaces ranging from villas to high-rise towers.
To date, Al Thuriah is one of the top-ranking real estate companies in Sharjah – a position boosted by the fact that it is offering a full spectrum of real estate services thru its five divisions: Properties, Construction, Interiors, Leasing and Facilities Management.
Al Thuriah Construction started as a small contracting company that built the school fence of Lycee Libanais Francophone Prive in Dubai, its first ever project in 1996. Back then, the company was mainly engaged in the construction and development of small plots and low-storey buildings across the neighbouring emirates of Dubai and Sharjah. Thenceforth, the journey from humble beginnings went on to cross many milestones.
In 2004, Al Thuriah Properties was established and eventually flourished as the premier property developer in the land. Our portfolio includes excellent quality developments for residential, commercial and industrial sectors. Our initial offering was Sahara Tower 1, the first residential tower of our 6-building compound, Sahara Complex, the iconic gateway to Sharjah located in Al Nahda. Additionally, we have developed a stunning collection of 3 high-rise Future Towers built in Al Khan.
With Al Thuriah’s name being recognized, in 2009, Al Thuriah introduced the Facilities Management division committed to maintenance works with first class workmanship, technical excellence, and thereby, guarantee total client satisfaction across Dubai, Sharjah, Fujairah and other emirates.
Over the years, Al Thuriah has been synonymous with competence and world-class service. True enough, the birth of Al Thuriah Leasing division in 2014 brought a hands-on approach ensuring the property owners in maximizing the value of their assets and that the tenants are receiving the high quality services.

Raymond Khouzami is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer at Al Thuriah, where he sets the strategy and vision of the company. In 1996, he, alongside Sheikh Majid Bin Hamad Al Qassimi, founded Al Thuriah in Sharjah. Since then, he oversaw the company’s growth from a start-up contracting firm to a leading real estate company with more than 1,500 employees in 5 different subgroups, serving more than 3,000 clients.
Raymond is responsible for leading the strategic development, overall management, the pursuit of new development opportunities and corporate acquisitions and financing activities across the business platform. With his professional business sense, wealth of experience and unmatched work ethic, Raymond provides innovative solutions to investors and partners for extraordinary returns.

Georges Khouzami is the Chief Operations Officer at Al Thuriah, where he oversees the strategic direction of the company, ensures the continuity of business operations and manages the company’s asset portfolio.
Georges is responsible for managing day-to-day operations and leading the group into becoming one of the most renowned real estate and construction brands in the region. He ensures that the appropriate systems and reporting procedures are in place to meet the operating requirements and financial goals of the company. By doing so, he aims to make the experience of owning a home a pleasant and enjoyable process for all of Al Thuriah’s clients.

Omar Khouzami is the General Manager at Al Thuriah, where he aims to lead the company into one of the most successful contracting and developing firms while delivering top quality products to all clients.
Omar is responsible for monitoring build progress, overseeing finance, ensuring quality, making strategic decisions and providing leadership and direction to his construction team while liaising with clients and building strong working relationships. Omar appreciates the unique challenges each new project brings and understands that collaboration, innovation, and effective communication are the keys to successful project delivery.
Interior Architect Manager
Jessica Khouzami is the Head of Interiors at Al Thuriah, where she aims to bring a modern architectural edge to ongoing and future projects developed by Al Thuriah and other external projects.
Jessica exhibits a balance of creativity, collaboration, and dynamic thinking with a structured and detailed perspective; enabling her to deliver focused development, follow through and total completion to each aspect of the design.
She has nurtured a team of skilled designers and craftspeople, allowing her to offer a full range of design services, executed at the highest level. She brings to her work a unique polished eye and innate understanding of how to craft a cohesive point of view through pattern, colour, and shape.
Projects Director
Khaled Othman is the Projects Director at Al Thuriah, where he pours his 33 years of experience to the success of building development. His experience ranges from executing multi-storey buildings as a contractor to providing engineering consultancy as well as preparing tender and contract documents with technical specifications for a wide range of projects.
Khaled is responsible for overlooking the projects and controlling budgets, while creating and maintaining relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure the usage of newest technologies and materials to suit the projects specifications.
Admin and Legal Director
Wissam Kaddoura is the Admin and Legal Director at Al Thuriah, where he leads the company’s administration and legal affairs.
Wissam led a distinguished career path during his 26 years of working in the UAE with multiple groups of companies across different industries and roles. He deploys this experience in his current role through supporting the business activities and providing necessary Administration and Legal services to secure the group’s strategy. He is passionate about ensuring the business growth in a sustainable and ethical way and building long-term trusted relationships to ensure the protection of its business interests and stakeholders.
General Manager - TFM
Mohamad Dandan is the General Manager of Al Thuriah Cleaning Services and Maintenance LLC, the facilities management wing of Al Thuriah.
Mohamad has in-depth combined experience of over 35 years across Engineering, Construction and Facilities Management aspects. He is mainly responsible for the entire operations of the department which includes formulating strategies and establishing policies. His areas of expertise involve issuing project proposals, negotiation and conflict management, overseeing project contracts and ensuring to implement customer service standards.
Human Resources Director
Ahmad Kayed is the Human Resources Director at Al Thuriah, where he leads the company’s initiatives related to the recruitment, compensation, engagement, and evaluation of workforce.
Ahmad brings over 20 years of experience and is responsible for the development and execution of HR Strategy in support of the business plan and strategic direction of the group, specifically in the areas of Recruitment and Selection, Manpower Planning, Succession Planning, Training and Development, Payroll, Talent Management, Processes & Procedures, Employee Relations and Performance Management.
Chief Financial Officer
Hassan Hammoud is the Chief Financial Officer at Al Thuriah, where he aims to use his expertise in strategic financial planning, financial consulting, budgeting and forecasting to lead the transformation of Al Thuriah from a family business into an international corporation.
Hassan has over 27 years of experience in various business sectors. He is responsible for implementing effective financial controls and operational improvements, executing mergers and acquisitions, deploying growth capital and optimizing capital structure.
